Each 2 degree cell shows how many minutes of the UTC day RAIM fault detection is not available at the chosen alert limit. It is computed with the settings of the FAA's daily RAIM unavailability plot (fault detection, 5 degree mask, one-minute step) from the GPS almanac and that day's satellite outage notices (NANUs). A blank map is the good outcome.

Yesterday's map is computed again at every update, from what is known by then, including outage notices published after the day.

0.3 NM is the alert limit for a non-precision (LNAV) approach. 0.1 NM is stricter, so its map shows more cells.

It takes any day, alert limit, grid and settings with an API key; the console draws the same map and exports it as PNG. The maps on this page are also at /raim-map/maps.json.
